I took the boys to DeSoto Caverns as their spring break field trip. It has changed so much since the last time I had been there, lots of things for kids to do. Unfortunately, it wasn't spring break for schools in other counties, so we were there with 500 other kids from local schools. It was a madhouse. The boys had fun panning for gemstones and riding the paddle boats. Carter and Hunter were really impressed with the cave. Graham was impressed with his echo in the cave, so he randomly yelled the entire tour! Happy Meals for lunch and you would have thought I took them to the beach for a week. Little kids can be so easy to please!
We have had a raccoon family visiting for the past few days. We have only seen the male once, but the mom and two babies are coming so often that we named them...Coonie, Itsy and Bitz. They come because we feed a "neighborhood cat" on our deck and they help him clean his bowl. The cat was popping the little raccoons in the nose, so the mom came up with a better plan!
